In the past few weeks we have visited Maggie Daley Park, enjoyed a trip to the beach, enjoyed downtown Chicago, and hung out in Millennium Park. We have been holding on to the last days of summer as long as we can. We made up for it by having a few outings around Chicago. 🙂 This was a very busy summer which was tied up by my wedding, honeymoon, and a couple of other things, so we did not get to do a family vacation this year. I loved having them home, and I really loved not having to get up super early and fight Chicago traffic. While some moms were eager for their kids to start school again, I was hanging on to the last bits of freedom with mine.
